stregtegning.jpgThe recreation of the rainforest in the aquarium with Microsorum and moss on wood gives combination of chaos and symmetry. It is aquascaped by George Farmer and Dan Crawford from UK Aquatic Plant Society (UKAPS).

From the base of wood formations crawls Hygrophila pinnatifida and carpets of Staurogyne. Eleocharis makes the low, green carpet in a wedge between the wood formations, and Pogostemon erectus makes the transition from the wedge to the wood formations.

Aponogeton makes long, crispy and dark red leaves above the right wood formation, and 'Vesvius' is planted in one large group behind the other formation.

Tip! More balance in the aquarium is given by only having Aponogeton behind one of the two wood formations
